Nowadays advertising is no longer an engine of trade, it’s a driver of innovation, investment in industrial production and a means of improving the life of the consumer. Its dynamical development and effective functioning is the key to high and economic growth of business.

The role of the Russian Association of Communication Agencies is to ensure that advertising as a social institution is transparent, systematic and orderly. I am sincerely glad that the Association has gained respect of everyone involved in the media and communications industry for 30 years of its activity!

About RACA
Russian Association of Communication Agencies (RACA) was established in 1993. It is a non—profit organization, largest professional association that unites more than 260 participants of the Russian communication services market.
RACA is a platform for broadcasting industrially significant topics, which creates conditions for cooperation in the fields of  B2B and GR, and also works to create maximum market transparency.
Since 2010, RACA has been working in partnership with Russian Association of Marketing Services and Association of Interactive Advertising Development (ex. iab Russia). The total number of associations members is 600 agencies/companies.
Goals and tasks
We are the biggest advertising association which unites all the advertisers and agencies on the market. RACA includes 34 committees/commissions. Main tasks of the «Commission for external relations and international relations»:

Estimated total volume of advertising is 8 billion 1 million $ (560 million RUB). More than 176 thousand advertisers conducted campaigns in Russia in 2022.
History
2023 was anniversary year for Russian advertising market – it turns 145. All the main network agencies and media are located in a heart of Russia – Moscow.
Scale and diversity
There are about 800 large advertising agencies in Russia. Of these, media agencies make up 45%, creative agen-cies — 25%, the rest are specialized agencies (Marketing services, Production, Digital, Event, etc.). There are federal, regional and local agencies.
