Red Apple announces the winners of the 34th season

The truly golden season of the Moscow International Red Apple Festival has come to an end: this year the participants received 30 gold, 62 silver and 88 bronze awards. The award ceremony was held on November 14 as part of the Content and Creativity Day at NRF’8. You could found winners and best cases of the season at the end of the material.

This year the festival gathered not only a record number of applications — 865, but also a record number of gold awards in the Creative category — 17. Previous season there was only one gold in this block. This indicator reflects how Russian creativity finds its face and finds recognition in the international market.

We had a decent competition list in terms of creativity. On the one hand, there were works that strong influence was achieved through technology, and on the other hand, there were works with an emphasis on the entertainment aspect that could convey the idea even with a small budget. Good ideas always win. As the number of good works increases, so does the number of high awards. At the same time, some of the participants were awarded several awards.

The creative potential of the participants is growing every year. Creatives are increasingly turning to sincere stories that resonate with the audience, which makes advertising not just a sales tool, but part of a cultural dialogue. Andrey Gubaidullin, Creative Director of RA Voskhod, shared his view on modern Russian creativity, which forms its own distinctive image:

Russian creativity today is a rally on a mountain road. On the one hand, there is a mountain of prohibitions, on the other — an abyss of consequences. You’re always thinking about how to fit into a turn. The safest topics: cuisine, songs and dances on marketplaces — feel comfortable. I look with hope at clients from the IT sector — a brave new world: mysterious, abstract, as yet unregulated.

Yekaterinburg agencies are experiencing a real triumph this season. Voskhod RA received a special award “Agency of the Year in the Creative block”, Soda × D Innovate group is the “Agency of the Year in the Marketing block”. The awards only confirm the talent and innovative approach of Ural creatives, drawing attention to Yekaterinburg as the center of the creative industry. Inspired by the unique cultural atmosphere of the region, agencies continue to create vivid and memorable campaigns that resonate with a wide audience.

It’s all about people and character. Yekaterinburg residents have a special character — stubborn and ready to take risks for the sake of self-expression. Moscow makes up the rules, but the Urals violates them. For Ural agencies, being different from others is not just a style, but a necessity that turns every task into a challenge, preserving its special identity coupled with courage.
