Russian Ad Association Joins Asian Federation in Major Partnership Deal
The Russian Association of Communication Agencies (RACA) has become a member of the Asian Federation of Advertising Associations (AFAA), marking a significant expansion of Russia’s advertising industry ties with Asian markets. The cooperation agreement was signed by AFAA Chairman Srinivasan K. Swamy and RACA President Sergey Piskarev.
Under the agreement, the organizations will exchange market data and analytics between Russia and Asian advertising markets, foster creative and business collaborations, participate in joint industry events and develop shared initiatives.
RACA plans to actively contribute to international dialogue by sharing insights on Russia’s advertising landscape and best practices from its domestic projects. The association will also participate in key AFAA events while inviting Asian partners to flagship Russian forums like the National Advertising Forum (NRF) and Red Apple.
The partnership will be spearheaded by members of RACA’s Commission for Strategic Cooperation with BRICS Nations.
Membership in AFAA perfectly aligns with RACA’s international strategy, where our key priorities include: collaborating with advertising associations from partner nations; advising international advertisers on marketing communications when entering the Russian market; expanding the geography and opportunities for international cooperation; and assisting Russian advertisers in accessing foreign markets. An additional strategic goal is to eventually host AFAA’s first international congress in Moscow through this partnership.
